"The course was designed to be a challenge for the world championship and it certainly was. 81 degree water (no wetsuit) swim, 5000 feet of climbing on the bike, entire run uphill/downhill, and of course, sun and heat (98 degrees).

I’m really glad I had the chance to participate, it was fun being there with athletes from all over the world, and a nice way to end the season on a high note."

In the 50's and sunny this morning. Looking forward to 70's most of the day. Going out to look for converts soon. Anyone interested in some pictures from the Berkeley hills? Lots of cyclists out here. Fancy bikes. Roads are in ok shape. Mostly smooth, but lots of patches from construction on some parts. Hills with two digit grades.We have our own Wildcat Canyon Road. Doesn't everyone? Very close by and a good place to hook up with other riders.
